Light Mount Slide Assembly

Our “Light Mount Slide” comes with our light stand. (light stand can also be ordered with an end mount light like some light stand builders use). It is becoming popular because of it’s ability to be set firmly and used without the need to tighten or loosen it’s mounts. It is commonly used when adding a light to an existing stand. This slide also works on some of our competitors stands.

Our nylon battery tray comes with the light stand or with our tool carts, or can be purchased separately. It is the perfect battery tray for the tech that needs to fly or where packing space or weight is a concern. It wraps around the base and rear brace of our stand and snaps together. It packs in very small areas and barely registers on a scale.

This is a nice light weight brass headed hammer with a polished face and a rubber cap on the other end. It is perfect for blending rails or tapping down crowns. It's light weight works really well on todays thinner metals. Awesome for working down crowns or perfecting panels at a greater distance than a tapdown will allow.

Hood Stand (Aluminum) - 4 Bent Arms

Our all Aluminum Hood Stand or "European style stand" comes with straight aluminum extension tubes and 3" single lock casters. It is designed to answer the needs of the tech that flies overseas for his work. It weighs about 20 pounds.

A quick note about casters. Single lock casters lock only the rotation of the wheel. These work fine for most techs and weigh about 1 pound less than the dual lock casters. Dual lock casters lock not only the rotation of the tire, but prevent the wheel from rotating around the stud that attaches it to the stand. Each dual lock caster weighs about 1 pound more than the single lock version. These are for the tech who prefers to eliminate any movement in the stand while working on the panel. Choose your casters in the drop down menu of this section.

Different vertical extension tubes are also an option. The standard stand comes with straight tubes as mentioned above. These tubes allow a 6' tall or taller tech to stand and work. Their advantage is that they weigh about 1 pound less than the bent steel extension arms. I use the straight tubes on 95% of the panels I repair. The optional Bent steel extension tubes allow you to place the tube at the farthest corner of even very large panels. They are about 1 pound heavier than each straight aluminum extension tube. You can choose these tubes in the drop down menu if you prefer to have them with your stand. Check out our video section for instructions and all the cool things this this stand can do.

Hood Stand (Aluminum) - 4 Straight Arms
